The incident occurred on January 25 in a residential building located in the settlement named after Sverdlov in the Vsevolozhsky District of Leningrad Oblast. The fire was reported in a two-room apartment on the first floor of a five-story building.
Fire crews from the 101st and 102nd units quickly arrived at the scene. Rescuers managed to localize the fire over an area of three square meters.
As a result of the fire, the apartment owner was injured. Medics provided first aid to the victim on site.
