The body of an elderly man was found at the fire scene in Novoaltaysk, according to the Emergency Ministry of Altai Krai.
The fire broke out during the day on January 31 in a private house and outbuildings. To extinguish the blaze, 19 firefighters, 7 units of equipment, and 3 gas and smoke protection service teams were deployed.
The fire was contained to an area of about 100 square meters, but an elderly man died at the burn site.
