Rescuers evacuated eight residents, including two children, using staircases and rescue kits.
Another 15 people, including two children, independently left the entrance before the arrival of fire crews.
The three victims, having inhaled carbon monoxide, were taken to a medical facility.
Hospitalized were a one-year-old girl, a 16-year-old teenager, and one adult.
‘With difficulty, firefighters managed to drive to the fire site. Choosing the way, they lost time,’ said a witness, a reader of 74.RU, noting that access was hampered due to cars parked in the yard.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS) reported that the condition of the victims is assessed as satisfactory.
‘The circumstances and cause are to be established by specialists from the investigation department,’ added the agency.
