Fire Engine and Ambulance at Tyumen PATP: What Happened?
On the territory of the motor pool of Tyumen«s PATP No. 1 on Republic Street, a gathering of emergency service vehicles was noticed. In a photo sent by witnesses, two fire trucks and an ambulance can be seen. As a reader of 72.RU reported, this happened around 7 a.m.
«Two fire trucks and an ambulance arrived at the PATP. They quickly put out the fire, and the fire trucks are already leaving,» shared a reader of 72.RU.
General Director of PATP No. 1 Roman Shulepov told a journalist from 72.RU that an incident occurred at the enterprise: one of the workers was splashed with acid intended for charging car batteries. An ambulance was called for him, and then the medics called the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM). There was no fire at the enterprise. After examining the victim, the rescuers left, and further care was handled by the medics.
The editorial board reached out for a comment to the Department of Healthcare of the Tyumen Region. At the time of publication, no response had been received.

«The call came into the operational department on February 2 at 7:06, arrival of the ambulance team — 7:17. After examination and providing assistance, the patient was delivered to Regional Clinical Hospital (OKB) No. 1. The patient in satisfactory condition was referred for outpatient treatment,» said the press service of the health department.
Earlier we reported on another incident that occurred at the PATP in Tobolsk. There, the canteen manager was fired due to a shortage and suspicion of stealing four pies. The woman sued her employer and received a large compensation.
