In Barnaul, under the trade building of the fair on Vzlyotnaya Street, a fire occurred in an underground garage. As reported by the regional Emergency Situations Ministry (MChS), one person was injured as a result of the incident.

When rescuers arrived at the scene, the garage was heavily smoky. The open flame was quickly extinguished — the fire covered about 10 square meters. One car was damaged.
Even before the firefighters arrived, 100 visitors evacuated from the fair building, as well as two employees of the garage cooperative. One person was taken to the hospital.
According to the preliminary version, the cause of the fire was a vehicle malfunction.
