Fire at 'Predannye Dushi' Animal Shelter in Tatishchevo Destroys Home
Animals housed in the shelter were killed in the fire that destroyed the home.
A fire that occurred yesterday evening in Tatishchevo, Saratov region, took place on the territory of the «Predannye Dushi» (Devoted Souls) animal shelter. This was reported by the Telegram channel «Govorit Saratov» citing volunteers« words.
Video footage from the scene shows the extent of the damage caused by the fire.
Tatiana Varakina«s house burned down, where she lived with her sons. The cause of the fire, as reported earlier by the regional Emergency Ministry (EMERCOM), was an electricity meter. The fire area was 50 m2. In the fire, cats, a parrot, and a chinchilla died.
