Fatal Highway Crash in Ryazan Injures Teenagers

A multi-vehicle collision on a highway in Ryazan resulted in one woman dead and five people, including teenagers, injured on January 25.

Yesterday, January 25, at around 18:22, on the 545th kilometer of the R-132 «Golden Ring» highway in Ryazan, a 25-year-old resident of the Klepikovsky District in a BMW crashed into an Opel driven by a 46-year-old woman from Ryazan.

Preliminarily, due to the collision, the Opel veered into the oncoming lane and collided with a Haval, driven by a 41-year-old resident of Mikhailov.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the Opel died at the scene from injuries sustained.

Five other people were taken to the hospital — a 19-year-old passenger of the Opel, the driver of the Haval, and his passengers — a 32-year-old woman and teenagers aged 10 and 14. This was reported by the regional traffic police (GAI).

An investigation is underway. The circumstances of the incident are being established.
