According to preliminary data, a Volvo truck veered into the oncoming lane, striking a Lada Granta car along the way. This was followed by a collision with a KamAZ heavy truck and an Audi A6 sedan.
The collision involved several vehicles, leaving extensive damage and debris on the road.

«After that, there was a head-on collision with a Gazelle Next van. The Volvo heavy truck then slid into a ditch and hit a tree. The driver is trapped in the crumpled cab, and rescuers are trying to save him,» explained the traffic police of Tyumen Region.
Authorities have closed a section of the highway to facilitate investigation and cleanup.

The driver of the KamAZ was also trapped in his vehicle and died. The driver and a passenger of the Audi, as well as a married couple and the driver of the Gazelle, sustained injuries.
