Farewell ceremonies for Vladislav Chernushenko on January 30
People's Artist of the USSR Vladislav Chernushenko died at the age of 91. The farewell to the maestro will be held in St. Petersburg on January 30.

Vladislav Chernushenko, the long-serving artistic director of the St. Petersburg Capella, People«s Artist of the Soviet Union, and honorary citizen of the city, passed away after a serious illness. The St. Petersburg Culture Committee announced that farewell ceremonies are scheduled for January 30.
The events will take place in the following order:
- At 10:00, a civil funeral service will begin at the Academic Capella.
- At 13:00, a funeral service will be held at Smolny Cathedral.
- At 15:00, the burial will take place at Smolenskoye Cemetery.
Vladislav Chernushenko led the Capella for decades, leaving a significant mark on its history and making a substantial contribution to national musical culture.
