Unknown individuals are sending information via Telegram channels claiming residents of the Pinezhsky and Kholmogorsky districts in the Arkhangelsk Region are about to be evacuated. The rumors allege this is due to poor heating system performance following a massive power outage.

An illustration circulating online resembles a screenshot from a local media outlet in the Arkhangelsk Region. It states the decision to evacuate was made at a meeting of the regional operational headquarters. However, no such article was ever published on that website.

The press service of the Government of the Arkhangelsk Region confirmed to 29.RU that the information in the illustration is untrue. No evacuation is being conducted in the region.

Residents of Pomorye (the Arkhangelsk Region) have previously been frightened in a similar way — with rumors about the cancellation of northern wage bonuses.

Regarding the power outage in the two districts, it did occur, but the malfunction has already been fixed.
