She called on Nizhnekamsk residents not to panic. All links are being passed to law enforcement.
«These channels have no real basis and aim only to sow panic in society and destabilize the situation,» the press secretary noted.
She added that the authors of such channels are immediately blocked, but they create new accounts and messages.
The attack at Nizhnekamsk Lyceum No. 37 occurred the day before, on January 22. A teenager stabbed a cleaner with a knife, fired a signal device, and set off fireworks.
After the alarm sounded, the school staff along with students immediately took shelter in classrooms, barricaded the doors, and remained in safe places until special services arrived. The boy was detained by the Russian National Guard (Rosgvardiya), and all students were sent home.
A criminal case has been initiated for negligence and attempted murder. However, lawyers believe that the teenager may avoid criminal responsibility, as may his parents.
A classmate described the attacker as a strange boy fascinated by channels about terrorism. He also noted that the teenager was not bullied at school. Later it emerged that two days before the incident, a close friend of the 13-year-old student had died.
The injured cleaner received eight stitches in the hospital, and overall, her life and health are not in danger.
