A fire broke out at an electrical substation on Trikotazhny Proyezd in northwest Moscow. Local residents noticed a bright flash and smoke from their windows. The cause may have been a short circuit, writes the agency «Moscow».

During the emergency, residents of neighboring buildings reported power outages: «The TV and internet are not working. I called support, they said there was a technical failure in our area. They are looking into it,» «In building 11, the antenna also went out for a while, but quickly came back on and the internet is working.»

Currently, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS, EMERCOM), power supply is operating normally. They emphasized that there was no fire following the short circuit.
