Expert describes how accident happened on Yegorshinsky approach

A serious traffic accident occurred in Yekaterinburg on the morning of January 28 on the Yegorshinsky approach. The collision between a bus and a garbage truck led to a major traffic jam. The State Traffic Inspectorate reported that no one was injured in the accident.

Details of the incident have not been officially disclosed, but auto expert Dmitry Larionov, after visiting the scene, proposed his reconstruction of events.

The location and nature of the marks suggest that, apparently, the scenario was as follows: the bus driver carelessly made a U-turn, failed to clear the lane in which the garbage truck was traveling, and the garbage truck hit the bus«s rear door. The bus was spun around and drove into the snow. That is, initially the angle of collision was quite acute, not perpendicular at all. They ended up perpendicular later,
