Emergency services respond to severe crash on Yaroslavl's Leningradsky Avenue

Footage of the accident on Leningradsky Avenue in Yaroslavl has been published, showing emergency services at work.
Residents of Yaroslavl were warned about an accident on Leningradsky Avenue, near the Rio shopping center. It occurred around 11:30.
Video from the scene captures the damaged vehicles and the response of ambulance and fire crews.
‘A severe accident, ambulance and firefighters are on the scene. Someone was being extracted from a car. A traffic jam is starting to form,’ wrote in the group ‘Zhest Yaroslavl’.
Footage from the scene shows that cars are standing in the right lane. They have dents on their bodies, and one has a bumper fallen off.
Police reported that a VAZ and a Mazda collided.
‘According to preliminary data, the driver and two passengers of the VAZ sustained injuries, and they are receiving medical assistance,’ said the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Yaroslavl Region.
In the Yandex Maps service, at the time of this publication, the accident site is marked in yellow. That is, there is a slight traffic congestion.
Recall that an accident with victims occurred on the evening of January 21 in Rybinsk. A Land Rover car crashed into a bus with passengers and hit another car — a Lifan. Four people were injured in the accident, two were hospitalized.
