The Russian embassy has commented on an elephant attack on a car with tourists from Kazan in Sri Lanka, according to TASS.
«Such incidents occur frequently on the island,» said Mikhail Rogov, press secretary of the Russian embassy in Colombo.
He also recommended not approaching wild animals and not doing anything that could provoke aggression, including feeding, taking close-up photos, and moving outside established routes.
Recall that the elephant attacked the car with tourists and even managed to tear off the door. None of the passengers were injured. A Kazan resident said that his son and wife were very frightened but managed to run out of the car. Then the tourists drove away without the door.
