As a result of a utility accident in Dzerzhinsk, residents of several streets have been left without hot water supply and heating. In some buildings, the cold water pressure has also noticeably dropped.
The incident occurred in the morning on Tsiolkovsky Avenue, near house number 18.
To eliminate the rupture, the Dzerzhinsk Water Utility shut off a large-diameter main pipeline, which caused a drop in system pressure and a temporary halt in the supply of heat and hot water.
According to the management company «Upravdom», the accident has affected approximately several dozen residential buildings. The shutdowns have affected buildings on the following streets:
  • Griboyedov Street
  • Gaidar Street
  • Tereshkova Street
  • Mir Street
  • Lenin Street
  • Pobeda Street
  • and others.
Utility services tentatively plan to eliminate the consequences of the rupture by 20:00 today.
In another incident, in Nizhny Novgorod, an accident on the networks of a private organization led to flooding in the Novopokrovsky microdistrict, where residents had to help specialists in eliminating the consequences.
