Drunk men in fatal crash near Yekaterinburg, alcohol bottle found

Details have emerged about a fatal accident on the Polevskoy highway. As eyewitnesses told E1.RU, three cars were involved in the crash: a Nissan, an Audi, and a Mercedes.

«The Nissan was overtaking traffic toward Polevskoy. It hit the Audi, and from the impact swerved into the oncoming lane under a Mercedes. There were five people in the Nissan; the car«s owner died. He was in the middle of the back seat. According to the Audi driver, the whole group was drunk,» the report stated.

There has been no official information yet on whether the Nissan driver was sober. Everyone from that car was hospitalized. No one in the Audi or Mercedes was seriously injured, eyewitnesses said.

Earlier, an eyewitness said a man was trapped in the front seat of the Nissan. The accident forced authorities to close the road.
