Two seniors were hospitalized after a drunk driver crashed into their car in a daytime accident.
A drunk 49-year-old driver of a Nissan Note crashed into a Toyota Allion in the Duldurga district, resulting in two people being injured, according to a January 27 report on the Telegram channel of the Zabaykalsky Krai traffic police department (GAI).
«According to preliminary data, on the afternoon of January 26, on the road between Aginskoye and Duldurga, the 49-year-old driver of a Nissan Note, while intoxicated, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a Toyota Allion. As a result of the accident, the 73-year-old driver and a 65-year-old female passenger of the Toyota were taken to the Aginsk Central District Hospital,» the statement said.
Police are investigating the causes and circumstances of the incident.
