Drunk driver flees police in Mercedes-Benz chase
A drunk driver from Zabaykalsky Krai led police on a chase in a Mercedes-Benz before being apprehended.

A drunk 27-year-old resident of Zabaykalsky Krai in her Mercedes-Benz became involved in a chase with traffic police officers after refusing to stop, but was eventually caught. This was reported on January 28 in the Telegram channel «State Traffic Inspectorate of Zabaykalsky Krai».
The pursuit began after the driver ignored a police signal to stop on the Irkutsk-Chita highway.

Officers on duty in the Chita district signaled the driver to stop on the federal highway between Irkutsk and Chita. However, the driver did not comply, and a chase ensued. The car was stopped in the village of Domna. The driver was a woman who was intoxicated and did not have a driver«s license.
Administrative charges were filed against the driver, including for driving without a license while intoxicated and failing to comply with a police officer«s lawful order to stop the vehicle.
