The Moscow region came under another attack from Ukraine overnight on 20 July. As reported by regional governor Andrei Vorobyov at 07:20 on his MAKS channel, air defense and electronic warfare systems repelled the drone attack. But the consequences were again severe, especially in Podolsk, Domodedovo, and Odintsovo.

«In Odintsovo, a car and a private home were damaged. There are no casualties. In Podolsk, drone falls caused fires and damaged several civilian infrastructure facilities, as well as a private home in the village of Maloye Tolkino,» Andrei Vorobyov said.

According to the governor, one person was wounded in Domodedovo in a fire at a private home, and another on the M-4 highway, where a drone fell next to a car. However, Domodedovo Hospital reported on its Telegram channel at 05:40 that six injured had been brought to the facility — all with mine-blast injuries of varying severity, three of them foreigners. According to updated data as of 06:30, one of the injured in the drone attack — a man born in 1974 — is in serious condition. Everyone is receiving necessary assistance, and at the time of publication, emergency services and rescuers continue working at the impact sites.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that from 8:30 PM on 19 July to 5 AM on 20 July, more than 400 Ukrainian drones were heading toward the Moscow region. «The majority were neutralized by air defense on the far approaches. 85 drones were destroyed on approach to Moscow,» Sobyanin wrote on his MAKS channel.

On the night of 18 July, the Ukrainian military struck a Wildberries warehouse and other targets in the Moscow region, killing one civilian and wounding 61. That same night, the marketplace«s logistics center in Tambov Oblast was attacked: seven people died, dozens were injured. Over that day, Ukrainian strikes in various Russian regions killed and wounded more than 100 civilians. Details and photos are in the article on Voronezh1.ru.
