Drones Attack Moscow Region — Injuries, Fires

Overnight, air defense forces and electronic warfare systems repelled a drone attack on the Moscow region, said regional governor Andrei Vorobyov. Private homes and civilian infrastructure were damaged, causing fires.

In Domodedovo, a resident of a private house was wounded, and another person was injured on the M-4 highway after a drone fell near a vehicle.

In Odintsovo, a car and a private home were damaged; no casualties were reported. In Podolsk, fires broke out, damaging several civilian facilities and a private house in the village of Maloye Tolkino.

Meanwhile, the Domodedovo hospital reported admitting six patients with mine-blast injuries of varying severity. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin stated that from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., more than 400 drones were heading toward the Moscow region. Most were neutralized by air defense on the distant approaches.
