On the morning of January 28, Rosaviatsiya (the Federal Air Transport Agency) reported temporary restrictions at the airports of Krasnodar, Gelendzhik, and Sochi. The latter is already operating normally. The measures were introduced to ensure flight safety and have been in effect since 09:40.
In the regional capital Krasnodar, three departure flights have been delayed (one to Tashkent and two to Moscow). Two more aircraft are delayed on arrival—from Yerevan and Moscow. At Gelendzhik Airport, a flight from Moscow has also been rescheduled.
Recall that in Krasnodar Krai, the drone threat is still active. Alerts have been announced for the second time in 24 hours—at night, the region was attacked by drones. There is destruction in the Seversky district, where four houses were damaged. In addition, residents of settlements near Krasnodar heard loud explosion sounds for several hours. The Crimean Bridge was closed for more than 7 hours, due to which trains in Krasnodar Krai are delayed.
Earlier, Sochi Airport reported that until Thursday, January 29, schedule adjustments are possible due to bad weather in Moscow. Flights may be rescheduled, canceled, or combined.
