Drone attack threat declared in Voronezh region overnight

Residents are urged not to disregard safety measures.

The region has experienced multiple drone and missile threats in recent days, prompting official warnings.

The threat of drone attacks from the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been in effect in Voronezh region since 03:10 on February 2. Governor Alexander Gusev published this information on his official channels.

— I ask you to remain calm. Air defense forces are on alert. Follow further alerts from the regional government or from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, — the head of the region addressed residents.

At the time of publication, the threat remains, and there is no information yet on the possible elimination of drones. If you are indoors, do not approach windows. If you need to go outside — choose the shortest path to your destination. If sirens are activated, take cover as quickly as possible in the nearest building, underground passage, or parking lot. During a night attack on January 27, petroleum products caught fire in the region, and the consequences were described by Governor Alexander Gusev.

Update. The all-clear for attack threats in the region was given at 07:40, no consequences were reported.

Update 2. 31 aircraft-type drones were destroyed overnight over Russian regions, the Ministry of Defense reported. Voronezh region is not on the list. The most drones were eliminated over Belgorod region — 22 UAVs were shot down there.
