On the night of July 20, drones attacked the Moscow region. According to Governor Andrei Vorobyov, at least 10 people were injured, residential buildings and civilian infrastructure were damaged. Residents of the Moscow suburbs filmed several fires in different cities.

A column of smoke was visible in Podolsk, where two women were injured. A reader of MSK1.RU reported that the attack began at 3:30 a.m., and residents of her building took shelter in the stairwells. She also wondered why there were no danger notifications or sirens.

After the drone attack, a fire also broke out in the «Southern Gates» industrial park in Domodedovo. In that city, seven people were injured, six of whom were hospitalized.

In the Odintsovo district, an 11-year-old girl was diagnosed with an acute stress reaction. She did not require hospitalization.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that more than 400 drones were heading toward the Moscow region, most of which were neutralized on the distant approaches. The Investigative Committee (SK) opened a criminal case on terrorism charges (Article 205 of the Criminal Code).
