A serious traffic accident occurred near the industrial capital of the region yesterday, January 21. The driver of one of the cars was injured.

According to the Stavropol Territory State Traffic Inspectorate, yesterday around 09:40 at the 234th kilometer of the «Kavkaz» highway, a VAZ-2106 car went into a skid. To avoid colliding with this car, the driver of another vehicle, a VAZ-2111, changed lanes but did not ensure the maneuver was safe and crashed into a Hyundai Universe bus.

As a result, the 21-year-old resident of the Shpakovsky District, who was driving the second car, was hospitalized with injuries. It turned out he was traveling from Armavir towards Nevinnomyssk. No one on the bus was injured.

Traffic inspectors found that the young man had more than 3 years of driving experience and had been twice held administratively liable for traffic violations in the last 2 years.

Unfortunately, this is not the only accident in Nevinnomyssk in recent days. Another crash occurred in the city, injuring several people. According to preliminary data, the driver of a VAZ-2107 was driving at high speed, weaving in and out of traffic, and then made a dangerous overtake. As a result, he lost control and veered into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a VAZ-2112. Both drivers and a passenger in the first car were injured.
