Dog bites girl on playground in Yekaterinburg

In the Oktyabrsky District of Yekaterinburg, a dog attacked a girl on a playground. The animal bit the child on the side. The victim«s mother told E1.RU about the incident.

The incident occurred at Kuybysheva Street, 102 on Monday, 20 July. According to the mother, a man was walking a dog on the road. The animal broke free and ran towards children playing on the playground.

«One of the girls got confused, reached for the leash, and the dog, without a muzzle, lunged at her and bit her on the abdominal wall. The owner pulled the dog away and offered to call an ambulance. The girls refused and ran home scared,» the reader explained.

After the incident, the family filed a report with the police and went to the hospital, where the girl was prescribed a course of injections.

«We ask the owner to come forward and provide information about the dog«s vaccinations so that we can be at ease and not subject the child to injections,» the victim»s mother concluded.

The press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Yekaterinburg reported that a report on this incident has been registered with Police Department No. 7. The victim has been sent for a forensic medical examination to determine the degree of harm to her health. Police are conducting an investigation. A procedural decision will be made after the inquiry.
