In Krasny Sulin, the bodies of a 56-year-old couple were found in a residential apartment. Preliminary findings point to carbon monoxide poisoning.
The Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for Rostov Oblast has opened a criminal case under the charge of «causing death by negligence.» A gas water heater was installed in the apartment where the incident occurred.
Forensic examinations have been ordered to determine all circumstances.

the department«s press service reported.
The Prosecutor«s Office of Rostov Oblast has initiated its own review.
