Director of Bashkortostan's Symphony Orchestra Detained in Ufa

Law enforcement officers have detained Arthur Naziyullin, the general director of the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Bashkortostan. His colleagues confirmed this information to UFA1.RU. However, they have not yet named the exact reason.

«Detained pending clarification of circumstances,» UFA1.RU was told by the orchestra«s public relations department.

The Telegram channel «Honest Report» claimed that along with Naziyullin, the director of the Bashkir State Philharmonic, Almaz Saetov, was also detained. But he did not answer calls—neither on his work number nor personal. No official information has yet come from the police or the Investigative Committee. We have contacted the authorities for comment and will publish the responses on the website as soon as we receive them.

Recall that 37-year-old Arthur Naziyullin is a People«s Artist of Bashkortostan, a laureate of the Salavat Yulayev Prize, and the holder of other prestigious state awards. He has been leading the republic»s symphony orchestra since 2019. In this position, one of the main results of his work, as indicated on the official website, was the orchestra being awarded the title «Academic,» which confirms the high level of performance mastery.
