Details emerge on fatal bus crash near Tyumen
The collision between a car of the «FAV Bestrun» brand and a commuter bus occurred at night at the 132nd kilometer of the Shadrinsk–Yalutorovsk highway in the Isetsky District. According to preliminary data from the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate (GIBDD), the 59-year-old car driver entered the oncoming lane, which led to the accident. The man, a resident of the village of Isetskoye, died at the scene.
At the time of the incident, the bus was following the route Kirovsky – Kommunar – Isetskoye. There was only one passenger in the vehicle. Neither he nor the bus driver were injured.
The circumstances of the tragedy are currently being established. The prosecutor«s office has begun an inspection of compliance with traffic safety legislation.
