Deputy Minister of Nizhny Novgorod Forestry Injured in Accident
The State Labor Inspectorate is investigating the road accident.
A road traffic accident involving the deputy minister of forestry of the Nizhny Novgorod region occurred on January 29. The accident happened at the 101st kilometer of the Nizhny Novgorod-Kirov highway, resulting in injuries to the official and the driver, who sustained various injuries. The incident was reported by the State Labor Inspectorate.
The exact circumstances of the incident have not yet been established. The regional Ministry of Forestry did not notify the State Labor Inspectorate about the workplace accident, so inspectors from the supervisory authority have begun an investigation to clarify all details. It is not yet known which specific deputy minister was involved in the accident.
This is not the first case of a road accident involving Nizhny Novgorod officials recently. Earlier, on January 20, three employees of the Corporation for the Development of Industry and Entrepreneurship of the region died in an accident. Their official car collided with a foreign-made car, two people died at the scene, and the third in the hospital.
At the end of December, the head of the Gorodetsky District, Alexander Mudrov, was involved in a road incident. A VAZ-2105 «Zhiguli» car suddenly drove into his lane from the opposite direction, leading to a collision.
