Death toll from drone strike in Temryuk district rises

Three people have been killed and eight injured in a drone attack on port terminals in the Volna settlement, the Krasnodar Krai operational headquarters reported.

The death toll from a drone attack on port terminals in the Volna settlement, Temryuk district, has risen to three people. This was reported on 22 January by the operational headquarters of Krasnodar Krai.

Another eight people were injured. Medical assistance on site was provided by 12 ambulance teams.

As told by the vice-governor of Krasnodar Krai, Alexander Rudenko, three injured with serious injuries are being prepared for evacuation to the regional clinical hospital No. 1.

«A medical aviation team from KKB No. 1 has been dispatched to the Temryuk Central District Hospital and continues to work on site. Three people are being prepared for evacuation to the regional hospital during the day,» Rudenko reported.

Recall that on the evening of 21 January, port terminals in the Volna settlement were subjected to a drone attack. Earlier, the governor of Kuban, Veniamin Kondratyev, reported two deaths.

After the strike, a fire broke out on the terminal territory — four tanks with petroleum products caught fire. Around 8:00, the operational headquarters reported that the fire had been completely extinguished.
