Dashcam Video Shows Severe Accident in Yekaterinburg
A road accident involving two crossovers – a Subaru and a Nissan – occurred on January 27 in the center of Yekaterinburg.
The Subaru driver, named Sergey, described what happened:
I was driving from 8 Marta Street along Malysheva Street. My speed was about 60 km/h. Before the intersection, a dark Hyundai Solaris changed lanes in front of me. I applied emergency braking, and I was thrown into the oncoming lane, colliding with a Nissan.
The recording from the Subaru«s dashcam shows the sequence of events. The car was traveling in the far left lane when the Hyundai driver from the middle lane, without using turn signals, began to change lanes abruptly right in front of it.
To avoid a collision, the Subaru driver braked sharply, causing his car to be thrown into the oncoming lane, where it collided with the Nissan.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident. The Hyundai driver, whose actions, according to those involved, provoked the accident, left the scene. Now, the participants of the accident are actively searching for him and possible witnesses to the incident.
