Dangerous driving causes accident in Nevinnomyssk
An accident occurred in the industrial capital of the region, injuring several people. The driver made a dangerous overtaking maneuver and lost control of the vehicle.
The incident was reported by the city«s mayor, Mikhail Minenkov, on his social media. According to preliminary data, the driver of a VAZ-2107 was speeding, weaving through traffic, and then made a dangerous overtake. As a result, he lost control and crossed into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a VAZ-2112.
Both drivers and a passenger in the first car were injured in the accident. They suffered traumatic brain injuries and other damages. Medical personnel provided necessary aid to all.
«I appeal once again to all road users: following the rules is not a formality, but a guarantee of your life and the lives of others! High speed, risky overtaking, neglecting safety — all of this is unacceptable,» noted Mikhail Minenkov.
It is worth recalling that recently the city saw another serious accident on the federal highway «Kavkaz». The driver of a VAZ-2109 entered the oncoming lane, where a collision occurred with two cars at once — a Skoda and a Hyundai. The impact was fatal: the 29-year-old man who was driving the domestic car died at the scene, without waiting for the ambulance.
