Criminal case in Voronezh after wheelchair user's icy ramp fall

The criminal case was opened after a local news report detailed the incident involving a wheelchair user on an icy ramp.
In Voronezh, the Investigative Committee (SK) has opened a criminal case after a wheelchair user fell due to ice on a ramp. This was reported by the agency.
The criminal case was opened under Article 238 of the Russian Criminal Code — providing services that do not meet safety requirements. The basis for the case included an article by Voronezh1.ru, which told the story of Vitaly, who on January 11 suffered fractures in both legs after falling from his wheelchair. This happened near house No. 1/10 on Perevyortkina Street due to ice on the ramp. According to the man, the ramp was not broken but poorly cleaned, which led to the fall.
Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin has instructed the head of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee for the Voronezh Region, Mikhail Selyukov, to report on the progress and results of the criminal investigation.
Investigative actions are already being carried out in the criminal case, aimed at establishing all the circumstances, collecting and securing evidence.
