A collision between a Niva and a Chevrolet in Buzuluk resulted in injuries to five individuals.

Another severe traffic accident occurred in the Orenburg region. This time, according to the press service of the regional police department, it happened the previous day, on February 1, at 15:10 in Buzuluk.
According to preliminary information, a 77-year-old driver of a Niva was driving along 1 Maya Street from the direction of Kazanskaya Street. When turning left, for some reason, he did not yield to a Chevrolet coming straight towards him. After a powerful impact, the domestic car crashed into a snowbank.
Five people were injured: both drivers, a female passenger of the Niva, and two passengers from the Chevrolet. Four required hospitalization, and the man driving the foreign car was released for outpatient treatment after first aid was provided.
Police found that at the time of the accident, all people were wearing seat belts. The pensioner from the Niva now faces administrative charges, and there are also questions about the quality of road markings — they simply were not visible here. An investigation is underway.
