Equipment has been deployed to clean up after a powerful mudslide that occurred overnight in the area of the Ministerial Lakes residential complex. According to the Sochi Municipal Management Center (MUC), the area is being cleared.
Authorities are advising motorists to seek alternate routes around the affected area.

«We ask residents and drivers to avoid this area and exercise caution. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available,» the Sochi Municipal Management Center said.
Recall that in Sochi, a powerful mudslide blocked traffic on one section of the city«s road network. According to eyewitnesses, a clay mass with stones and tree roots slid onto the concrete road behind Gymnasium No. 9 in the Ministerial Lakes residential complex area.
