Cleaner shows self-sacrifice after Nizhnekamsk schoolboy attack

Nizhnekamsk Mayor Radmir Belyaev visited cleaner Alsu Anasova from lyceum No. 37 in the hospital after she was attacked by a student with a knife. She has a positive prognosis.

“During the morning incident, she showed true self-sacrifice by taking the blow upon herself. Alsu Shaihullovna sustained a hand injury. On behalf of all Nizhnekamsk residents, I wished her a speedy recovery and expressed deepest gratitude for her courage and composure in the emergency situation,” the mayor wrote in his Telegram channel.

Anasova is currently in the traumatology department with a positive prognosis. Belyaev promised to support her family.

Recall that a 13-year-old teenager attacked the woman with a knife; she underwent surgery and received 8 stitches. The boy was detained by the Russian National Guard (Rosgvardiya): he had a knife, a mask, and tactical gloves with him. A criminal case has been initiated.

A classmate described the teenager as strange and said that he was interested in terrorism. It turned out that two days before the attack, the boy«s close friend died.

During the attack, the staff together with the students, upon the alarm signal, took shelter in classrooms, barricaded the doors, and remained in safe places until the arrival of special services.
