Classmates: Girl who died in fall mentioned corpses in lessons

An 11-year-old girl named Ksenia (name changed — Ed.), who was found dead under the windows of a high-rise in the Akademchesky district, talked about corpses during lessons. A classmate of the schoolgirl told E1.RU about this.

An emergency on Semikhatov Street occurred on the morning of January 27. The fifth-grader fell from a shared balcony and died at the scene.

“She often mentioned corpses in class, but she didn«t hint at anything. Ksenia was good, didn»t call anyone names, seemed to be friends with everyone. Today Ksyusha didn«t come to class, we thought she was sick. After English, we went to the vice-principal»s office, and the principal told us this terrible news. All the girls immediately started crying, the boys were in shock too. Our homeroom teacher was crying, she was upset. I«m still shaking from this news,” shared an acquaintance of the girl.

He said that a few days ago in a Russian lesson, Ksyusha gave an example of a sentence with the word «corpse.» Also, according to the classmate, the girl did not study very well. He added that the school psychologist did not work with her.

Other classmates of Ksyusha told E1.RU that she interacted with few people and often complained about life.

According to an E1.RU source, law enforcement is considering a version of suicide. After the incident, a note and a phone left by the girl were found on the shared loggia of the house.
