Child Pornography Discovered on Suspect in Murder of Pasha
During the arrest of a 38-year-old man suspected of killing a child, a computer with a collection of child pornography was seized. The suspect has already confessed to the crime and indicated where he hid the body.

A 38-year-old man was detained on February 2 in Pskov on suspicion of murdering 9-year-old Pavel. He had a computer with him, brought from his home in the village of Yalgelewo. On the device«s hard drive, operatives found child pornography materials.
After being taken to the Criminal Investigation Department of St. Petersburg, the suspect confessed to the murder. He reported that he drowned the boy«s body in a water body in the Lomonosovsky District of Leningrad Region. The investigative team, along with the detainee, went to the indicated location to verify the testimony and conduct searches.
The search for the child«s body continues in the Lomonosovsky District. In the village of Yalgelewo, an operational headquarters of the search squad »LisaAlert« has been deployed, where dozens of volunteers are working.
Pavel«s disappearance occurred on January 30. Around four in the afternoon, the boy left the hypermarket »Lenta« on Tallinn Highway and headed to the nearby fast-food restaurant »Vkusno — i tochka«. In the parking lot of this establishment, he often offered drivers to wash car windows for money. That day, after a brief conversation with one of the drivers, whom he knew previously, Pavel got into his car. The car drove away, and the child was not seen again.
As follows from the suspect«s correspondence, he might have been acquainted with the boy. In their last communication, Pavel threatened to reveal some information if he did not receive a reward. Their meeting took place on January 30 in the parking lot of the hypermarket on Tallinn Highway, after which the child»s trail was lost.
All files and correspondence found on the computer will likely be attached to the criminal case on the murder, and possibly to other cases.
