Child Injured in Traffic Accident in Kurgan
The collision occurred as one vehicle failed to yield, injuring a teenager and an elderly driver.
In Kurgan, on Konstitutsi Avenue, a minor was injured in a traffic accident. According to the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Kurgan, the incident occurred on the morning of January 26.
Around eight o«clock in the morning, a LADA Largus car was exiting from the adjacent area near house No. 26b onto Konstitutsi Avenue. The 47-year-old driver of the Largus failed to yield to a VAZ-21120 car traveling towards Koli-Myagotin Street. As a result of the collision, the driver of the second car, a 60-year-old man, and a 15-year-old passenger of the VAZ-21120 sustained injuries. They have been prescribed outpatient treatment.
The traffic police remind Kurgan drivers of the need to pay attention to traffic signs and right of way, and to ensure the safety of maneuvers for all road users.
