Another traffic accident has occurred in the Orenburg region. This time, according to the regional police, it happened not in Orenburg (where, as reported by 56.RU, two black Lada Grantas collided), but in Mednogorsk.
The incident took place at 10:50 on Shtolnaya Street. According to preliminary information, a 58-year-old driver of a Chevrolet Niva, traveling from Yubileynaya Street towards the settlement of Rakityanka, lost control, and his vehicle veered into the oncoming lane, where it collided head-on with a SIMAZ passenger bus.
There were casualties: a 70-year-old retiree who was riding in the bus was hospitalized with various injuries at the city hospital in Mednogorsk. Police are conducting an investigation to determine what caused the Chevrolet driver to lose control of the steering wheel.
