Chevrolet and Kia Crash Injures Two in Chelyabinsk

In the early hours of Monday, 20 July, a traffic accident with two injured occurred on Dzerzhinsky Street in the Leninsky District of Chelyabinsk. The drivers of a Chevrolet and a Kia failed to share the empty road. The moment of impact was captured on video.

The footage shows that the car moving on a secondary road did not yield to the one traveling on the main road. Traffic lights were not working at the time of the crash.

“Shards all over the intersection,” eyewitnesses said. “When I walked by at 7 a.m., the ambulances were already gone, and so was the second black car.”

The city«s traffic police department reported that both drivers were injured and taken to hospital. Based on the footage, one of them suffered a leg injury.

“According to preliminary data, a collision occurred between a Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by a 19-year-old and a Kia Ceed driven by a 33-year-old man,” the traffic police said.
