A fatal accident involving a one-year-old child occurred on the federal highway A-370 «Ussuri» in the Nadezhdinsky District. A Honda Freed Spike car crashed into a Shacman heavy truck, resulting in the death of one passenger, according to the press service of the Primorye police.

An investigation is underway at the crash site to determine the precise circumstances of the collision.

The Honda was driven by a 50-year-old man, and there were three passengers inside, including an infant in a child seat. Preliminary findings indicate that the driver was traveling from Vladivostok to Ussuriysk, gained excessive speed, and lost control, causing him to crash into the truck at approximately 13:00.

As a result, the driver, the child, and an adult passenger were injured, and a 38-year-old woman died at the scene from her injuries. Officers from the State Traffic Inspectorate found that the at-fault driver has 28 years of driving experience and had not been held responsible for traffic violations in the past year.

Updated: As a result of the accident that occurred today in the Kiparisovo area, four people were injured, including a father and his one-year-old child.

The baby was hospitalized in serious condition in the neurosurgery department of the Tysoyakoyevnaya Hospital in Vladivostok. The man was examined and recommended outpatient treatment.

Another man refused hospitalization. One woman sustained injuries incompatible with life.
