Car With Child Overturns in Trans-Urals

A foreign car with a boy overturned in Belozersky District.
On July 20, in the Belozersky District of the Kurgan Region, on the 18th kilometer of the road to Tyumen, near the village of Rychkovo, a 41-year-old female driver of a foreign car, a Nissan Almera, exceeded the speed and lost control. The car left the road and overturned.
According to the regional State Traffic Safety Inspectorate (GAI), as a result of the accident, a 67-year-old female passenger sitting in the front was hospitalized. In the back seat was a 9-year-old boy who was not in a special child seat and was not wearing a seatbelt, unlike the adults. Fortunately, the child avoided serious injuries and received medical assistance on the spot.
The GAI once again reminds about the importance of using child seats and seatbelts.
