On the evening of 3 February, a car collided with a train in Yaroslavl. At about 5:30 PM, at the railway crossing near Yaroslavl-Pristan station in the Dyadkovo district, a car drove onto the tracks in front of an approaching freight train.
The accident happened in the Dyadkovo district of Yaroslavl.

«The train driver applied emergency braking, but the distance was insufficient, and the collision could not be avoided. Preliminary information indicates no one was injured,» the press service of Severnaya Zheleznaya Doroga (Northern Railway) reported.
According to the railway, the incident did not affect passenger train services.
Severo-Zapadnaya Transportnaya Prokuratura (North-Western Transport Prosecutor«s Office) has launched an investigation. The agency said the train did not derail.
«An inspection is being conducted on compliance with legislation on traffic safety and railway operation,» law enforcement officials said.
Another railway accident occurred on the evening of 19 January. A truck and a diesel locomotive collided at a crossing near Tormoznoye Shosse. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
