Car kills two women on Permsky Trakt in front of husband

It has been revealed who died in the horrific accident on Permsky Trakt. They are 53-year-old Natalya Arestova from Revda and her mother Alexandra Leonidovna. On January 31, they were traveling to a relative«s birthday in the neighboring region to the town of Chernushka, when their car skidded into a ditch. Natalya»s husband was at the wheel.

The women got out of the car to help push it back onto the road. At that moment, they were fatally struck by a «semerka» (a model of Lada car).

«Kolya [Natalya»s husband] had already driven out of the ditch at that moment. He says, «I turn my head, and Natalya goes flying over the car,»« the daughter of the deceased Natalya told E1.RU. »Grandma was thrown into a snowbank. She died instantly. But mom was still alive when the ambulance arrived. She was breathing and her eyes were open. But the doctors immediately said there was nothing they could do to help her.«

Natalya«s daughters arrived at the accident scene and saw for themselves the condition of the road on the highway.

«Because of the snow, there was pure ice on the road, you could put on skates and go. Out of two lanes, only one was actually passable. We, of course, don»t know at what speed the driver of the «semerka» was going. But he insists he wasn«t speeding,» said the daughter of the deceased. «By the time the bodies were lying there, a truck of workers arrived and started spreading sand on the road.»

Alexandra Leonidovna was 73 years old. She worked her entire life at a factory in Revda. Her daughter followed in her footsteps. Natalya was a compressor unit operator. In her free time, she performed in an amateur theater.

«She performed in plays, appeared as an extra in movies, went to pools, did aqua aerobics. Everywhere, everything that the factory had where you could participate, she was always there. So active,» said Natalya«s daughter. »Grandma was also full of life, she planted a vegetable garden, helped build the house, never had any illnesses, never sat still.«
