On 30 January, an accident occurred at the intersection of Malysheva and Komintern streets in the Vtuzgorodok district of Yekaterinburg, completely halting tram traffic.
Trams created a traffic jam on Malysheva Street following the collision.

As seen in photos published by eyewitnesses, two cars collided directly on the tram tracks, causing traffic difficulties along Malysheva Street.
According to the transport department, there are casualties in the road accident. A request for official information has been sent to the traffic police (GIBDD, State Traffic Safety Inspectorate).
Half an hour after the incident, tram traffic was fully restored.
