Three medical workers were injured in a car accident that occurred on a highway in Usolye District on January 22, according to the Telegram channel of the regional State Traffic Safety Inspectorate (GAI).

The accident happened in the morning on the Siberia highway between the settlement of Sredny and the village of Kocherikova.
«The 35-year-old driver of the Lada Granta, traveling from the city of Cheremkhovo, failed to maintain a safe speed and collided with the trailer of a Mercedes-Benz truck moving in the same direction,» the GAI publication states.
The Granta involved in the accident was carrying medical workers. A 48-year-old woman sitting in the rear passenger seat was ejected from the car upon impact. The injured woman, as well as the driver and a second passenger with multiple injuries, were taken to the hospital.
