Car collides with bus on highway in Tyumen Region, driver dies

A passenger car driver has died following a collision with a bus on the Shadrinsk–Yalutorovsk highway. Emergency services extracted the deceased from the vehicle.

On January 22, at the 131st kilometer of the Shadrinsk–Yalutorovsk highway, a passenger car collided with a passenger bus. This was reported by the Emergency Ministry of the Tyumen Region.

«Emergency Ministry employees arrived at the scene and extracted the deceased driver of the passenger car from the vehicle,» the Emergency Ministry of the Tyumen Region reported.

It is known that there was one passenger in the bus and they were not injured. There is no information on the condition of the bus driver.

Six employees and one vehicle from the regional Emergency Ministry worked at the accident scene.

Two days ago, a massive road accident occurred on the Tyumen–Yekaterinburg highway in Sverdlovsk Region. Unfortunately, there were fatalities. A 36-year-old driver of a VAZ-2110 died.

Among the most common causes of accidents are failure to yield right of way, not maintaining a safe distance, or speeding. Drivers also often violate rules for pedestrian crossings and drive while drunk.

In the «Basics of First Aid» project, we discussed what to do at the accident scene first. A proper conversation with the victim will help determine the severity of injuries. In rare cases, it is necessary to pull an injured person out of a car. If a person is in clinical death, chest compressions are required.
