A car caught fire right on Lenin Square in Orenburg
A «cheerful» start to the week not only for investigators and prosecutors, who today had to «get excited» twice after a miner died at the «Gaysky GOK» and in Orsk near Komsomolskaya Square a minibus burned down.
And the fire in a private house on Ordzhonikidze Street, which 56.RU already reported, turned out to not be the only one in the regional center either. A photo appeared on social media showing a burning Niva… right by the Lenin monument in the very «heart» of the city — near the Agroprom building.
And this turned out not to be a fake, and not a neural network «product»: the press service of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) for Orenburg Region confirmed that such an event did indeed take place.
— The fire has been extinguished, the causes of the incident are being determined, — the department«s press service reported.
